Dear SJG,
Is it too much to ask my neighbors not to time their sprinklers to go on at the exact moment I walk by? I'm starting to take it personally. What's the etiquette here?
Just wondering,
Soggy Shoes
Dear Soggy,
There is no etiquette here, there or anywhere. Etiquette went out in the '50s. You're on your own, baby. Good luck.
You're welcome,
The SJG

I'm confused: if it were me, I'd complain if the sprinklers went ON as I walk by, or smile if they went OFF as I went by. Of course, Sister P doesn't get out much....
ReplyDeleteOh my God, Sister P, good catch. xo
DeleteRemind them that California is really a Desert State and they shouldn't be growing stuff (specially grass) that needs watering anyhow. Xeriscape is the ecologically responsible way to garden where you are SJG. But tell 'em with a smile! Brighton Gal
ReplyDeleteVery environmentally correct observation!!!! xo
