Sometimes the English language just takes too long. In this busy life we lead, who has time for complete sentences or fully formed words anymore? It's so much faster to praise hubby for the "great fee" he makes every morning, than to say, "great pot of coffee, husband of nearly 37 years." Some mornings, when I'm in a generous mood, I make time for more syllables. "Great fee fee."
If I've actually slept through the night, a rarity when one's royal rescue pup calls the shots, I offer an extended version, something with a bit more character and sass. "Great Fee Fee LaRue."This morning, I made a trendy reference. "Great covfefe." "Great what?" "Great covfefe." "You went there." "Too soon?"
