On Grammy night it was the worst possible thing
That thing that happened right when she started to sing
All I ask is who would do such a bad, bad thing
To tamper with the tune, the sound, the whole damn thing
The random guitar twang nearly ruined the thing
The audience couldn't deny that off-key thing
And in the end, she piped up to explain the thing
The piano mics fell on the piano strings
