The "Oy!" App

A new app called "Oy!" which only took 56 years to develop and does nothing but let you send one word, "Oy!" from kvetcher to kvetcher, has already raised $1 million from investors.  You heard me.  One million dollars!  Developed by SJG Enterprises, the Oy! app sends noodge notifications to other app users with an audible sigh of "Oy!" In the past three months, over 50,000 kvetchers have sent four million Oys!

For its creator, the joy of Oy! is that the phrase is so flexible in its meaning.  "Two little taps and your people know you're frustrated about something," says the SJG. "Why bother with details.  Consider the sender and you'll be able to fill in the blanks, instantly.  An 'Oy!' from your mother means one thing:  'Why haven't you called me?' An 'Oy!' from your hubby means, 'I'm stuck in traffic, put dinner back in the oven, I'll get there when I get there, so don't give me that annoyed look when I come in, I gave you a head's up.'

An 'Oy!' from your eldest son means the $2,200-a-month large studio in San Francisco he shlepped to see is only 200 square feet.  He needs you to empathize, as opposed to tell him, 'I told you it was going to be impossible to find a decent, affordable place up there; it's not too late to change your mind and stay home.' An 'Oy!' from your youngest son means England lost to Uruguay, and if you're smart, you won't ask him the final score, because you don't want to make him cry all over again.  An 'Oy!' from your best friend means that knock-off designer dress she ordered online just arrived and big surprise, it doesn't fit, but she wants you to talk her into keeping it, anyway, in the hopes that a few hundred dollars worth of alterations will make it fit like a dream."

The demand for the "Oy!"App is so high, the SJG needs help keep tracking of her new business.  Let's face it, she's never been that good in the math department.  So please, text your resumes to the SJG and maybe she'll hire you.
