Señor Nino

Over here in the S.O., we're on super serious Storm Watch. We're anticipating a biblical deluge, my friends. Señor Nino is all they talk about on the local news. It's Señor Nino this, Señor Nino that. Are we prepared for Señor Nino? Well, let's take a look. We've got the SJG Ark ready to go, more or less. All we have to do is build it out of all that bamboo left over from our Summer Pipe Disaster of 2015 (not to be confused with our Winter Pipe Disaster of 2014). We're also a little short on the animals two by two. We've got one animal, a bit on the elderly side and not a huge fan of water; one employed son and two late middle-agers, all three of us lacking in the nautical department. Other than that, we're excited to set sail. Should Sherman Oaks snap off from the Valley Proper, we're angling to float away with it, assuming we get a few things finished first, liked that pesky ark. Luckily, we've still got another day to prep for our Winter Disaster of 2016. On a happy note, hubby spent all of Sunday seeding the dead grass, spreading top soil and such. Over here in the S.O., we're all about the Great Lawn Comeback of 2016. It's the resurrection we're rooting for, hourly. We need this. We're so over the drought, you have no idea. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must go look for an umbrella. I have 32 hidden throughout the palatial estate. I'm sure I can find one that can handle Señor Nino.
